For the money we paid, we got great value. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep. The location was ideal for walking the Great Glen Way, with easy access to the trail and a convenient bus stop right outside. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even better.
Breakfast delights, but it would have been even better with more options to choose from.

The hostel was located in a convenient area, making it easy for me to explore the surrounding attractions and enjoy outdoor activities. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist me during my stay. The shared bathroom facilities were clean and well-maintained.
I found the room to be quite small and cramped, which made it difficult to move around and store my belongings. Additionally, the noise from the plumbing was quite noticeable, which affected my sleep quality.

My recent stay at Great Glen was absolutely fantastic. The hostel is located in a beautiful old building and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The staff were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to ensure all guests had a great experience. The beds in the private room were comfortable and the shared bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. I also loved the option to cook my own meals in the self-cook kitchen and the small store was convenient for purchasing food for the trail. The access to the trail was fairly good, although it would be even better if there was a direct connector into the hostel's backyard. The laundry room was a great addition and I appreciated having it available. my stay at Great Glen was enjoyable and I would highly recommend it.

I stayed at Great Glen for a few nights while exploring the beautiful Scottish countryside. The staff went above and beyond when my shoes broke by providing me with a replacement pair. Despite being in a remote location, the hostel offered affordable breakfast and dinner options. The room for three was cozy, with a shared bathroom that only one other room used. Ample parking and proximity to attractions like Loch Ness and Fort William were also a big plus. The informative documents and maps provided made planning activities a breeze.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

The atmosphere and facilities were great, with a special rural feeling. The staff were lovely and very willing to help.- The breakfasts were simple but great, and the tasty dinner was a nice surprise.
The kitchen was ridiculously small with only one small fridge, causing chaos when it got busy. The lack of crockery made it difficult to prepare meals.

This hostel is absolutely jaw-dropping! The beautiful old building is super clean and feels really updated inside. The staff goes above and beyond for guests, and the beds in the private rooms are incredibly comfy. The shared bathrooms are well maintained and clean. The dinner options were mind-blowing after a long day of hiking, and the hot breakfast option was a nice surprise. The self-cook kitchen and small store were a great addition for cooking and trail snacks. The location is very convenient for the Great Glen Way walk, and the hostel provides free wi-fi and parking. The laundry room was a bonus, and we even made friends with a friendly rooster. This hostel truly embodies why young people love staying at hostels. Big shoutout to the amazing staff and the person who decided to convert this marvellous building into a hostel. PS: the tuna sandwich was absolutely amazing!
